Sandhill Cranes enjoying the Refuge
It is always nice to see the Sandhill Cranes come home to the Central Valley for the winter. It was a cloudy drizzly day and a good day for photography - although the Sandhill Cranes, a couple thousand, were keeping to themselves in the distance. The NWR refuge always does a great job managing the refuge with marsh lands and grass / corn fields.
